Family Care Pharmacy is coming to 12800 Middlebrook Road in Germantown, Maryland. The video associated with this article shows the initial conditions of the demolition of the existing interior office that will be replaced by the pharmacy and a doctor’s office. The pharmacy owner sold an existing pharmacy in Prince Georges County, Maryland and have invested in this new building condo in Germantown, Montgomery County, Maryland because of the existing medical practices in the building that will help support the pharmacy business and 12800 Middlebrook Road is also very close to a the new Germantown Holy Cross Hospital. It has been over 30 years since Montgomery County approved the development of a major new hospital and it is about time. Upper Montgomery County has been exploding in population growth. According to a recent Gaithersburg Germantown Chamber of Commerce report entitled “The North I-270 Corridor Economic Development Profile” (Grab Your Copy Here) Germantown would be the 3rd largest city by population in Maryland if it were an incorporated city.
There is no question that this along with the every fast growing neighboring Clarksburg that is the driving physicians to open new practices in Germantown to serve the medical needs of the surrounding populous. In addition to the pharmacy, Trevion Corporate Park, home to many new medical practices including Holy Cross Health, also recently inked three other new tenants and/or medical condo owners. An Orthodontist, Dr. Tomona, is opening soon. She purchased a first floor condo of approximately 3,000 square feet at 12850 Middlebrook Road.
Dr. Misha Martin with Complete Care for Kids also leased over 3,000 square feet on the second floor of 12850 Middlebrook Road. She is relocating her existing practice from another location within Germantown. Both medical practices are in the early stages of build out and should be open at Trevion Corporate Park by late Summer 2017.
